We have spent a lot of time this term learning about the Great Fire of London. We made our own city of London using cardboard boxes and art skills including wax resists drawings with water colour paints and mixing water colours and chalk pastels to create the vivid nature of fire and flames. We then visited Ryde Fire Station to learn about keeping our homes safe in the event of a fire, the work that the Fire Service do and to recreate our very own Great Fire of London.
