Tag Rugby and Basketball House Tournaments - Key Stage 2

 

 

This term, the majority of KS2 have been covering Tag Rugby and Basketball in their P.E lessons. At the end of every P.E topic, we always finish with a house tournament for each class to test their newly learnt skills in competition. Here are the results and the individual awards for each class. Each house is awarded 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. Players of the tournament are chosen based on their skill AND teamwork:

School Sports Organising Crew - Year 5 Young Leaders 2015

Congratulations to the Year 5 children, pictured above, for completing the Young Leaders course after school this term. As well as helping to run our Sports Day this year, they will also act as our School Sports Organising Crew throughout their time in Year 6. They will ensure playground equipment is put away correctly, help with refereeing tasks during P.E lessons and help organise games for the younger children. Well done to them all!
