The Year 6 Prom!
There should be 3 documents underneath each set of 3 photos, numbered the same as the superimposed number in red on each photo. If you open the document of the same name, you should be able to zoom in save / print / edit the actual larger and better quality photo yourselves if you want a copy.
Thanks to Mrs Pudney for the photography!
What a great night...
That's it for Prom photos... hope you enjoyed them!

So, the last day.... packed up the rooms, located the owners of (most of) the lost socks, had a few rounds of ping pong and then made our way home. ( a few sleepy heads on the coach back)
Well done to everyone for a fantastic time, we've enjoyed seeing you enjoy London and hope you all enjoy the weekend with your families. See you on Monday!

Just a quick description of the day as it's now Midnight...! Today we explored the Investigate Centre in the Natural History museum, while also avoiding some rain... the children were fascinated and behaved impeccably . We also took part in the minute's silence in the museum for the Grenfell victims. They were very respectful.
We looked around the museum, finding the Blue Whale, Dodo and the gift shop amongst other treats! Then after lunch and changing into our smarter outfits, we headed out to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden for many street entertainers, then Pizza Hut. The highlight of the day was not the second or third helpings of pizza, but the amazing Lion King show that we have just returned from... WOW! It was a spectacular show and all the children and adults were buzzing about the amazing costumes, puppetry, set and songs. There was lots of singing along, laughs and whoops and cheers at the end. What a great last day!
Looking forward to seeing all the families tomorrow, get some beds ready for all of us as we will be fairly tired after a busy week but what a great time we've had ! Hoping the pupils are mostly asleep by now and then I will be soon after....
We've had yet another fantastic day in London! Gorgeous weather this morning and a fascinating trip to the Globe theatre with a great tour guide, followed by some exploration of Modern Art at Tate Modern. We then took a leisurely stroll down Southbank towards Jubilee Playground and enjoyed the amazing London Eye. Everyone went on, despite a few fears, but they were all really proud of themselves for achieving the challenge. Our walk took us next past Big Ben, sadly covered in scaffolding but still recognisable, and down past Downing Street and Horseguards.
The last part of our exploration took us through Trafalgar square and down the Mall , taking a detour into St. James' Park for some shade and rest. This is where Mr Goldsmith became David Attenborough and took some fantastic close ups of parakeets and squirrels. We finished off by lots of snaps at Buckingham Palace and then back for a well earned rest, and hopefully a quieter night for everyone !!! To end the day, some are watching TV, or amusing themselves in rooms, while Mr Goldsmith is currently holding a ping pong championship for those with any energy left.... !
We've had a good evening too, after dinner we had a walk through Kensington, past Harrods and Maclaren amongst others and then went to Hyde Park. A large game of manhunt took place , to try to wear out a few who still had energy, before heading back to the hotel. All now in bed and mostly asleep! Some have been asleep for longer than others!
What a great day!
A great first day so far at the Science museum exploring lots of hands on exhibits... just going to dinner soon in the hotel. All ok in their rooms , I'll get pics of the boys' room in a while, just realised I didn't take any in there although the sweet wrappers on the floor might stop me entering!!!! Everyone's doing fine, we are trying to tire them out more later with a walk although there are some sore feet already - not just mine!!
Missing you all but enjoying ourselves too!
Year 6 Homework
A reminder: Homework due days.... Tuesdays.
Please support your child.
PE is on Tuesdays from week beginning 9th October .
Please could parents sign homework diaries before Wednesday to show us you are seeing your child's homework diary! Also we check Reading Record books on a Thursday to see that children are reading at home and an adult has heard them read or discussed their books with them. We reward this with smileys to encourage the pupils to participate with learning at home.
