This half term, we are running a fantastic competition which we would like as many people as possible to enter.
Monkton Arts have asked children to write a book review for a book that they would recommend to the rest of the class. This can include a summary of the story, why it's fantastic and some illustrations. We want you to really encourage others to read your favourite book.
They would also like children to take a scene from a book that you have read or had read to you and produce a piece of art work to really sell it. This could be a painting, collage, coloured pencils etc what ever you fancy to really bring the scene to life.
All entries need to be in on or before Monday 23rd February. Some will be shown in the gallery or online and there will be prizes awarded for best pieces.
So this holiday take some time to really sell a book and help encourage others to get on reading and writing.
